With planning underway for next year Peachland Community Arts Council has found some Volunteer Opportunities. We are looking for capable, fun loving, community spirited individuals who want to give back to help build community here in Peachland.
Events Coordinator – HeARTs Festival Volunteer– Do you like to plan parties and work with a great team to pull off fun social events? We are looking for someone to work with the Events Committee to plan, organize and promote the annual HeARTS Festival Feb 10-16. The annual festival is a week of activities around Valentines Day with a weekend open house at Our SPACE and an evening musical event. You will lead the group in figuring out a budget, theme, activities, finding sponsors and generally keeping the group on track. Membership Coordinator Volunteer– Do you like a challenge? We are looking for someone to develop the role of membership coordinator. Membership is a key component of funding for the Peachland Art Gallery. You would oversee the development of a membership drive to increase our membership base. This key role will lead the design of the annual renewal campaign for January and co-ordinate the volunteers to sell memberships at events and in the gallery. You would look after the membership list and seek to increase the benefits of membership by working with other team members and the community. The busy time for this position will be in the fall for campaign design and early winter (January and February).
Social Media Coordinator – Do you have great social media skills; we could use your help to come up with a cohesive social media strategy that we can manage. News Blogger Volunteer – Do you like to attend our events and have a flair for writing? We are looking for an events news blogger to write one or two short reviews of Peachland Arts events.
