Beautiful Together & Echoes of Places
April 11 - May 10
Beautiful Together - is a dual-artist exhibition exploring the idea that we are more beautiful, strong, and resilient when we work together. Through a series of large-scale paintings and smaller works, each piece carries part of this shared story. A central collaborative work merges both artists’ styles into one emotive painting, offering a powerful example of their creative partnership and shared vision.
Alongside this, individual works are presented in paired hangings, highlighting both contrast and connection—abstract and figurative, different generations, and rural versus urban influences. While shaped by moments of tension and difference, the exhibition reflects a committed collaboration, expressing the strength of collective action and the transformative power of working together.
Echoes of Places - land, concrete, and sky converge in this exhibition exploring the emotional geography of place. Cove evokes the power of desert terrain—rock faces interspersed with grasses, blooms, and the ghostlines of ancient waterways.
Urban Pour captures the grit and structure of cityscapes, while First Light offers a quieter terrain: abstracted mountain forms bathed in soft light and grounded by oxide and Payne’s grey. These works speak to memory, transformation, and the spaces we carry within us. They are echoes—of place, of feeling, of becoming.
