Special Artist Talk - Sept 26th

Have you ever wondered what freedom might look like if it had a shape?

Join artist Banu Tulumen at Peachland Art Gallery for a special artist talk exploring The Shape of Freedom - an immersive exhibition inspired by Rupture, Resistance, Becoming, Flight and Rest.

Saturday, September 26 at 12:00 noon

Banu will take us behind the paintings, sharing the stories, emotions and ideas that shaped this powerful body of work. Discover how abstract painting can become a visual language for experiences that are difficult to express in words -  and how a painting can mean something entirely different to each person who encounters it.

Whether you love abstract art or are simply curious to see the exhibition from the artist’s perspective, this is a wonderful opportunity to look a little deeper, ask questions and discover your own interpretation.

Bring your curiosity. Leave with your own perspective.
