Sprucing up the Cenotaph

A sunny morning in Peachland, British Columbia, turned into a community-driven tribute as four local volunteers gathered to restore the town’s historic cenotaph.

The atmosphere was bright and energetic, fueled by the playlist from The Eagles. Hits like "Take It Easy" and "Peaceful Easy Feeling" provided the perfect rhythmic backdrop for the meticulous work. Deb, Vicki, Wally and Arlene carefully detailing the concrete structure and ensuring every corner of the monument was pristine ahead of upcoming community remembrance events.”

The crew at work touching up the letter to make them standout.

All Done!

Huge thank to the volunteer painters!
