The Art in Peachland group started on June 19, 2025 with 3 members. The group has grown based on word-of-mouth, artists come and go as their schedules dictate.

The group meets every Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the 50+ Activity Centre. Artists must be members of the 50+, which currently costs $30 per year. There are no other costs associated with membership in this group other than the occasional fund raising of a few dollars for special items.

Daphne Hindmarch is the coordinator of the group with help from Louise McIntosh and Valerie McGowan. The group meets to paint and socialize. Any form of art is acceptable, including acrylic painting, watercolour painting, pastel painting, drawing, pen and ink painting, and any other form of art that can be transported in and out every week.

Members bring their own supplies, set up and take-down their own tables and chairs. Most group members bring their lunch but coffee and tea is provided. There is no instruction provided and no workshops are planned.
