Peachland Historic School Accessible Plaza Society

Our project
Community supporters have partnered with the Arts Council to build this inviting, barrier-free plaza that will provide everyone with easy access into the school. The plaza will also serve as programmable outdoor space for art exhibitions, concerts, and other events.

The addition of sloped walkways allows easy access for community members with mobility challenges.

We need this important cultural space to be barrier-free for everyone.

Juried Call for Okanagan Artists

ART 10 X 10
Picture

Juried Artist Call:

Art 10 x 10 is an art/fundraising initiative for the development of the outdoor plaza on the Peachland Historic school (Plaza Project). We are seeking artists who would create 10” x 10” works on gallery wrap canvas (or equivalent). Pieces will sell for a standard price of $150.00. The artist is paid $75 and the remaining $75 is split between the Peachland Community Art Council, and the Plaza project.

These are representative of your work; not the actual pieces created for this project. Selected artists will be notified by email and asked to create up to 5 pieces for delivery to the Peachland Art Gallery no later than April 28. Two or three pieces of your work will be on constant display and replenished as it sells. This program will run from May 1- July 30. This is an excellent opportunity to sell multiples in this space during the summer season. Artists must live in the Okanagan Region.

Submit application and images to pcacgallerycoordinater@gmail.com

Membership to the Peachland Arts Council is required for successful applicants ( $10.00 annual fee)
